Rocket Fortress is a game that combines two genres: clicker (tap, click to perform actions) and strategy, defense. The main goal is that you control a rocket fortress and fire divine missiles to destroy monsters, teleport gates, bosses and waves of enemies. During the game, you can upgrade the power of the rocket, unlock new weapons, recruit soldiers, support units to automatically attack and fight stronger bosses in each level.
Players can click or hold the spacebar to continuously launch rockets.
Once upgraded enough, the system can automatically select targets (auto-target) to reduce the pressure of manual control.
You earn resources (minerals, uranium, hellstone, etc.) by destroying enemies and use those resources to upgrade systems and support units.
There are many types of upgrades: increase missile damage, increase firing speed, unlock new weapons such as Javelin, War Commander, etc.
There are marines recruited to support auto attacks and share the pressure when the monster wave is large.
There are also buffs, power-ups (e.g., increased damage, firing speed) in boss, raid battles.
Each stage will have increasingly strong enemy waves, demon gates and big bosses that require you to be well prepared to deal with.
If you do not destroy all the enemies before they reach the fortress, you will fail and have to replay the stage.
The game has cartoon-style graphics, explosive effects and vivid lighting, creating a high-pressure battlefield feeling.
The “click and auto” feel allows players to both manually intervene when necessary and rely on the automated system during normal attacks.
The game requires a strategic combination of upgrades, resource management, and quick reactions when bosses appear, not just relying on mouse click speed.
